***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The petitioners seek the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.49 dated 16.04.2022 under Sections 454, 380, 447, 427 IPC registered at Police Station Dirba, District Sangrur. On the oral request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Section 201 IPC is added in the headnote as well as in the prayer clause of the main petition.

The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary changes in the headnote as well as in the prayer clause of the main petition. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 08.07.2022 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioners have joined the investigation. The learned State counsel submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 08.07.2022 and are not required for custodial interrogation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 08.07.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioners shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and they shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
