ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.246 dated 06.04.2017 registered under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station Karnal Civil Lines, District Karnal and all other proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of the compromise. On 27.05.2019, while issuing notice of motion, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court for recording their statement with regard to the compromise.

The trial Court, thereafter, submitted a report on 01.07.2019 that the parties have failed to appear. Thereafter, on 06.08.2019, the time for recording the statement of the parties was extended.

Again, the trial Court has submitted a report on 29.08.2019 that none of the parties has appeared in support of the compromise. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file afresh petition, if the complainant still acknowledges the factum of compromise.
