Prayer in the instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution is for setting aside the order dated 7.1.2019 (P-8) passed by Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner,Karnalrespondent no.3 whereby its application for grant of interest on illegally retained sales tax, has been partially allowed. At the time of hearing,learned counsel for the petitioner prays for simpliciter withdrawal of the writ petition. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner at Bar, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
