The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise. A perusal of the paper-book reveals that there is no compromise on the record and only a photocopy of affidavit of Pawan has been filed. The photocopy of the said affidavit reveals that the same has not even been attested. It is rather strange that the petitions are being filed for quashing of FIRs merely on the basis of affidavits and that too unattested ones.

Faced with the same, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh. Dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid. (ALKA SARIN) JUDGE 29.10.2020 parkash NOTE:
