Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the dispute pertains to the agreement to sell dated 21.10.2015 whereby half of the share of flat bearing No.102, first floor, 4 BHK, Society Plot No.GH-19, Sector27, Urban Estate, Panchkula was sold to respondent No.6. The petitioner after receiving 30 lakhs, gave possession of flat to respondent No.6, who was co-owner. Now, respondent No.6 has filed a complaint of cheating against petitioner and posing threat to his life and liberty. Without expressing any opinion on merits, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner of Police, Panchkula to look into the representation dated 02.02.2017 (Annexure P-4) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office. However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be read as giving protection to the petitioner with regard to any civil or criminal proceedings instituted against him.
