**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of the alleged detenue namely Manpreet Kaur from the illegal custody/detention of respondents No.8 to 11.

On a pointed query put to the learned counsel, he has not disputed that he is not aware about the exact location where the alleged detenue has been detained by respondents No.8 to 11 since the year 2021.

In the circumstances, this Court fails to comprehend as to how a Warrant Officer can be appointed to locate the whereabouts of the alleged detenue. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that various representations have been given to the authorities concerned ever since the alleged detenue went missing in the year 2021. 5.

The petitioner is at liberty to pursue those representations in accordance with law.
