The issue raised in the writ petition is already covered through decisions of this Court namely whether a person who is resident of Chandigarh could be considered as eligible for admissions to the Punjab quota in the respondent-University. It has been held by the Division Bench of this Court in Harleen Cheema Vs. State of Punjab and others (MANU/PH/3548/2013) in CWP No.24747 of 2012 decided on 27.08.2013 that residents of Chandigarh shall also be taken as eligible for consideration of the Punjab quota, being the Capital of Punjab in the respondent-University. The petitioner's admission had been made provisional before and in terms of the judgment referred to above, it is PANKAJ KUMAR 2015.02.11 14:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
