1. The petitioners seek issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their lives and liberty as well as of other members of their families as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of respondent No.4.

2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners but without commenting anything as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - S.H.O., Police Station Mattaur, Sector - 70, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 19.6.2022 (Annexure P-3) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioners as well as of other members of their immediate families in accordance with law.
