The application has been filed by the petitioner seeking permission to withdraw the main petition, which is otherwise fixed for 25.05.2026. Advance notice of application has already been given to the learned counsel for the respondent-State who is present in Court. On oral request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the hearing of the case is preponed and the case is ordered to be taken on the Board of this Court today itself.

The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.95 dated 11.06.2022 under Sections 363, 366 IPC (corresponding Section 137 & 96 of BNS) registered at Police Station Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure P-4).

In view of the averments made in the said application by learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
