Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner(s) in case FIR No. 38 dated 28.09.2018, registered under Section(s) 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and Section 427 IPC at Police Station Sadar, District Pathankot. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and he is not required for further investigation in any way. Thus, he be released on pre-arrest bail. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from Malkiat Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for any further investigation.
