Main Case The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefits of notional pay fixation and seniority by fixing petitioners' pay at par with the candidates who are lower in merit, and were allowed to join in the first list, dated 17.12.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent No.2. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide his pending representation, dated 16.08.2023, Annexure P-7, in a specified period.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Sandeep Singh Mann, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice and submits that the pending representation, dated 16.08.2023, will be decided by the second respondent expeditiously. 5.

In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent-Director, Secondary School Education, to consider and decide the pending representation, dated 16.08.2023, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from receiving a certified copy of this order.
