Crl. Misc. No. M-643 of 2017 (O&M) -2named the husband of the in-laws but challan was filed only against the husband and the petitioner was never joined the investigation and recovery of the dowry articles was not effected and directions should be given to the police officials to hand over the investigation to an independent investigating agency like CID/Crime branch.
State counsel submits that since challan has been submitted and if the complainant has a grievance, she can avail the remedy available under law. He also states that the case is fixed for framing of charge on 5.3.2018. The prayer made in the petition was for handing over the investigation to the Crime Branch/CID. Investigation is over. Challan had been presented in September 2017. The complainant is aggrieved as the rest of the family members of the in-laws were not challaned. No further investigation is required.
The petition is disposed of as infructuous.
