This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 7, parents and relatives of petitioner No.1. On the request of counsel for the parties, the case was kept pending and opportunity was allowed to the parties to have a talk. When the case was again taken up, learned counsel for the parties have apprised that the petitioners and private respondents could not reach any consensus. However, learned counsel for the private respondents submits that he has instructed to make statement that private respondents will not interfere in the lives and liberty of the petitioners and in their matrimonial life.

However, it is made clear that petitioner No.2-Arun Kumar is minor and nothing contained in this order shall be read as opinion of this Court regarding the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or will effect any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
