*** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No.798 dated 16.12.2017, under Section 379-B of the Indian Penal Code ('IPC' - for short) and Section 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Samalkha, District Panipat.
Learned State counsel upon instructions from ASI Ravinder submits that four prosecution witnesses have been examined and the matter is now listed for examination of the remaining prosecution witnesses on 23.05.2019. He states that every effort shall be made to examine the remaining prosecution witnesses as expeditiously as possible.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not press the present petition at this stage.
