Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is matrimonial dispute between petitioner and son of respondent No.4, who committed suicide. Petitioner is on family way having two months pregnancy and had requested the police vide representation (Annexure P-4) to conduct fair investigation on the complaint of respondent No.4. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Mohali to look into the representation Annexure P-4 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted to provide protection to the petitioner from any legal action to be taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated against him in accordance with law.
