(Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for directing the trial Court concerned to expedite the trial and decide the application for interim maintenance filed by the petitioner under Section 125 Cr.P.C., bearing MNT No. 918 of 2019, titled as, 'Kajal Sharma Vs. Lovejit Singh alias Sunny', which is stated to pending for 06.09.2021, in the Court of Sh. Manoj Kumar, Prinipal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid application of the petitioner is pending before the Family Court since 18th February, 2019 and the petitioner is facing acute financial hardship on account of the same. Learned counsel has placed reliance upon the judgment of the Apex Court rendered in case Cri. Appeal No. 730 of 2020, titled as, 'Rajnesh Vs.

Neha and another', decided on 04.11.2020. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar, to JAWALA RAM 2021.08.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Family Court, Amritsar, to decide the application of the petitioner filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for interim maintenance expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months from the date fixed before the Court concerned.
