59 Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Labour Commissioner over and above his junior respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner qua his aforesaid grievance, submitted a representation dated 10.06.2022 (Annexure P-6) but to no avail. Hence, the instant writ petition. 3.
On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representation dated 10.06.2022 (Annexure P-6). 4.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending representation, as suggested by learned State counsel. 5.
Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.
