(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent- Corporation has filed a civil suit for recovery of an amount of Rs.1,58,492/- being the outstanding amount of electricity bills of original electric connection bearing account No.N35P1660038N. In that suit, the petitioner has filed the written statement, admitting the claim of the Corporation and is still ready to pay the aforesaid amount along with interest for restoration of electric connection.

Notice of motion.

At this stage, Ms. Samridhi Sareen, Advocate appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection for release of connection in case an amount of JYOTI SHARMA 2022.08.05 17:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No. 13767 of 2022 -2Rs.1,58,492/- along with interest @ 6% per annum is paid from the date of accrual till final date of deposit. In view of aforesaid settlement, this writ petition is disposed of.

On receipt of total amount along with interest, the respondent- Corporation shall restore the electricity connection bearing account No.N35P1660038N forthwith.
