CR-3457-2026 (O&M) -1IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CR-3457-2026 (O&M) Date of Decision : 23.04.2026 United India Insurance Company Ltd.

......Petitioner Vs.

Narinder Pal Singh and others ......Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE SUDEEPTI SHARMA Present :

Mr. Harsh Aggarwal, Advocate, and Mr. Anshul Sharma, Advocate, for the petitioner.

**** SUDEEPTI SHARMA J. (ORAL) 1.

The present revision petition has been filed for setting aside orders dated 10.04.2026 and 18.04.2026 passed by learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-VII, Jalandhar, in Execution Petition No.103 of 2026 titled as 'Narinder Pal Singh Vs. United India Insurance Company Ltd.'

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that learned Executing Court did not appreciate the very fact that petitioner has filed Special Leave to Petition, which is pending before Hon'ble the Supreme Court. He, therefore, prays that orders dated 10.04.2026 and 18.04.2026 passed by learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-VII, Jalandhar, be set aside.

CR-3457-2026 (O&M) -23.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the case file with his able assistance.

4.

A perusal of the averments made in the present petition shows that the petitioner-Insurance Company does not want to comply with the order for which the respondents have filed execution petition. Even the impugned order dated 10.04.2026 shows that the same ground of Special Leave to Petition filed before Hon'ble the Supreme Court is taken before the learned Executing Court as well, which is taken in the present petition also. It is rightly observed by learned Executing Court that there is no stay granted by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in the Special Leave to Petition. 5.

In view of the above, I do not find any merit in the present petition and the same is dismissed.

6.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. (SUDEEPTI SHARMA) JUDGE 23.04.2026 Virender Whether speaking/non-speaking : Yes/No Whether reportable : Yes/No VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.04.24 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
