Mr. Sandeep Arora, Advocate for the petitioners. NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 30.12.2020 passed by respondent No.2 (Annexure P-14) as well as the order dated 03.03.2023, passed by respondent No.2 (Annexure P-16), vide which the representation filed by the petitioners for grant of notional promotion was rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to grant deemed date of promotion to the petitioners as Junior Technician Grade-I w.e.f. 20.07.1999, alongwith all consequential benefits.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh one, on the same cause of action, with better particulars by incorporating the relevant provisions of Service Regulations.
