ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this second petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.15 dated 26.10.2014 registered under Sections 21, 25 and 29 of the NDPS ACT at Police Station SSOC, Amritsar. Counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner is in judicial lock up for the last 03 years, he restricts his argument only to the extent that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously.

Counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Amandeep Singh, submits that out of 12 prosecution witnesses, 09 witnesses have already been examined and the next date of hearing fixed before the trial Court is 14.05.2018.

Heard.

In view of the submission made by counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
