The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus: "It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that the petition he accepted and the petitioner may kindly be granted the concession of regular bail in case FIR No. 107 dated 04.10.2022 under Sections 21/27A/29 of NDPS Act, 1985 and Section 25 of Arms Act (Lateron added Section 3/4/5 of Explosive Act 1884 vide GDD No. 36 dated 04.10.2022] registered at Police Station Ramdas, District Amritsar Rural, Punjab (Annexure P-1], in the interest of justice. Alternate prayer for grant of interim regular bail for a period of 6 weeks on medical grounds, in the interest of justice." 2.

After arguing the plea for regular bail for some time, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the plea qua the regular bail. He has, however, submitted that he may be permitted to approach the concerned Sessions Court for grant of interim bail, on account of adverse medical condition of the petitioner. He has further submitted that till the decision of his plea for interim regular bail, on medical ground one way or the other, he may be afforded requisite proper medical treatment by Jail authorities.
