SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, father and other relatives of petitioner No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 22.02.2017 (Annexure P-4) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The year of birth of petitioner No.1-Sher Singh is 1994 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and date of birth of petitioner No.2-Krishna Devi is 25.10.1992 as per copy of Secondary Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 22.02.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

In view of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka to look into the representation Sachin Mehta 2017.02.28 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
