Present:

Mr.Talwinder Singh, Advocate for the petitioner.

........

RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) 1.

Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to decide the revision petition bearing ROR No.40 of 2018, dated 08.01.2018, Annexure P-1, filed by respondent No.5 against the issuance of Sanad Takseem within some specified time as the same is pending for the last more than six years and the partition case was filed way back in 2007 and Sanad Takseem was issued on 24.11.2015. 2.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that ROR No.40 of 2018 is pending since the year 2018. He submits that service is complete as the respondents who are living abroad have already been proceeded ex parte but despite that case has not been decided. He further submits that Sanad Takseem in this case was issued in the year 2015 and thus there is no reason for not proceeding with the pending revision. 3.

Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. 4.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Navneet Singh, Sr.DAG, Punjab, MEENU 2024.05.22 11:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State

CWP-12028-2024 -2and submits, on instructions, that service upon some of the respondents, who are living abroad is yet to be effected and next date of hearing before revisional authority is 24.05.2024. He submits that once the service is complete, the revision would be decided expeditiously. 5.

In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. learned Financial Commissioner, that if service upon respondents is complete, then decide the revision petition expeditiously preferably within three months from the date of completion of service, in case there is no legal impediment, i.e. stay etc. in this case.
