The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Complaint bearing No. COMA 2167 of 2017 (CIS No.NACT-190 of 2017) filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Panchkula.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel submits that the petitioner be allowed to surrender before the trial Court and her application for bail be decided in a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 01.06.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the same be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
