Versus
STATE OF PUNJAB .. RESPONDENT CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S.GREWAL Present:- Mr. Yashpal Thakur, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab *** H.S. Grewal, J.(Oral) 1.
The petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 BNSS seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.37 dated 28.02.2025 under Sections 22,29,61,85 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur.
2.
The case of the prosecutions is that 200 intoxicant tablets of Tramadol HCI and 500 intoxicant tablets of Tramadol Prolonged were recovered from the co-accused Murti Kaur.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been nominated in the present case only on the basis of disclosure statement suffered by co-accused Murti Kaur that the recovered intoxicants were supplied by the present petitioner to her. However, no recovery has been effected from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He further submits that there is only disclosure statement against the petitioner and the same is inadmissible and is not a piece of evidence.

CRM-M-22986-2025 -24.
Reply has been filed in the Registry and the same is taken on record. Learned State counsel has opposed the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is involved in 10 more cases out of which 8 cases are under the NDPS Act. 5.
I have heard the submissions made by the parties and gone through the record.
6.
From the perusal of the reply, it appears that the petitioner is a habitual offender and on seeing the criminal antecedents of the petitioner that she is involved in 08 more cases under NDPS Act other cases, the petitioner is not entitled for anticipatory bail and the same is hereby dismissed.
