(Oral) By way of filing the present application, the applicant seeks transfer of civil suit titled ' Palwinder Singh vs. Gurjit Kaur', pending in the Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Patti, District Tarn Taran, to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Amritsar. In a civil suit, personal appearance of the parties is not necessary and they can appear through any other authorized agent or counsel. No ground for transfer of the suit is made out. Finding no merit in the application, the same stands dismissed.
