1. The petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in a case registered against him vide FIR No.217 dated 3.9.2017 under Sections 302, 404, 34 IPC at Police Station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

2. The learned State counsel has informed that the matter is at fag end and that all the PWs have already been examined and that statement under Section 313 Cr.P.C. also stands recorded in respect of one of the accused.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has expressed that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the proceedings of the trial and that the counsel who is representing petitioner here also happens to be counsel for the petitioner before the trial Court as well and that he would argue the matter on any date as may be fixed by the trial Court. 4. In view of the fact that trial is at its fag end, this Court does not deem appropriate to grant bail at this stage. The prayer for grant of bail, as such, is declined.

5. The trial Court is directed to probe the possibility of conducting proceedings and hearing arguments through video conferencing, in case it is not possible to hear arguments physically while adhering to all the safeguards as prescribed by the Health Authorities. All appropriate steps, as may be possible in the present circumstances be taken for expeditious disposal of the matter, as the counsel has expressed that he would argue the matter before Trial Court.
