Mr. Parvinder Singh, Advocate, for respondents No.5 & 6. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Fresh vakalatnama on behalf of the petitioner, superseding earlier counsel, filed in Court today, is taken on record. Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to take action on complaint dated 07.11.2016 of the petitioner against respondent No.3 and provide adequate police protection to petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No.5 and 6.

Learned State counsel, referring to para No.4(III) of reply dated 31.05.2017 by way of affidavit of Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), submits that two police officials have been deputed at the house of the petitioner to ensure meticulous compliance of order dated 02.05.2017 of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. That apart, PCR RAVINDER SINGH 2018.10.01 08:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document is also taking regular rounds of the house of the petitioner on daily

-2CRM-M-678 of 2017 basis. Therefore, this petition has rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for respondents No.5 and 6 submits that COCP No.1799 of 2017 filed by the petitioner for alleged noncompliance of aforesaid order dated 02.5.2017, has been dismissed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 27.08.2018. Since, adequate protection has already been provided to the petitioner in compliance to the order dated 02.05.2017, nothing survives in this petition.

Dismissed.
