Learned counsel for the respondents has filed the written statement in Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner refers to Annexure R-1 appended with the said written statement to submit that the application status as on 02.12.2022 records that the file of the petitioner has been closed and no further processing would be done on the passport application. In the preliminary submissions, it is pleaded that file of the petitioner was closed on 14.02.2020 in the pendency drive and the same cannot be re-opened technically. In case, the petitioner applies afresh along with necessary documents, regarding current status of FIR No.391 of 2002 registered at IGI Airport, New Delhi, the case will be processed as per law. %        %%  Thus, in view of the response filed by the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the petition with liberty to make a fresh application for re-issue of passport. Learned counsel for the respondents raises no objection to the said request being granted.
