Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.196 dated 11.10.2014 registered under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act, 1985 at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous on account of fact that the petitioner stands convicted vide judgment dated 05.06.2023 passed by Ld. Special Court, Jalandhar.
