At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition, submitting that the trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial.

The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case and dispose of the same at the earliest, preferably within four months from the date of receipt of this order, provided defence counsel cooperate by crossexamining the witnesses on the date they appear.
