**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 53 dated 16.2.2017 registered at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur under Sections 376-D, 312, 149 IPC later on challan presented under Section 376-D, 312, 366, 149, 120-B IPC and Section 411 IPC (added later on). Counsel for the petitioner contends that petitioner is in custody since 29.3.2017 and the complainant had alleged that she was in a relationship with the petitioner and was pregnant and her parents got her engaged to someone else and ceremony was fixed in February 2017 and the petitioner compelled the complainant to run away and promised marriage but she was taken to a house and was raped by 2-3 other persons including him. The counsel further submits that the prosecutrix has been examined and six witnesses have been given up.

Crl. Misc. No. M-5303 of 2018 -2and only official witnesses remain to be examined. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing local surety and adequate bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
