The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 23.04.2018 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner against order of punishment dated 26.02.2018 (Annexure P-1) whereby the petitioner was saddled with the penalty of recovery of Rs. 37,770/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset prays for deciding the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 23.04.2018 (Annexure P-2) expeditiously by passing a speaking order within a time bound frame. 3.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Aman Sharma, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the respondents and accepts notice. He submits that the statutory appeal pending consideration shall be finally decided within a period of four months. 5.

Finding the request to be fair, present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2- The Appellate Authority, to decide the appeal ARCHANA ARORA 2023.05.25 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
