On 11.07.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "Due to heavy rain and water logging, the Bar is observing no work day.

The petitioner No.1 is mother of petitioner No.2 (minor). The petitioner No.1 applied for passport of petitioner No.2. A divorce petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act is pending between petitioner No.1 and her husband. The petitioner as per requirement of Passport Rules 1980 filed Annexure 'C' along with application seeking passport, however, the respondent has not issued passport on the ground that consent of father has not been obtained.

Notice of motion returnable for 14.08.2023."

Learned counsel for Union of India submits that passport authority is unable to issue passport because address disclosed in the Aadhar Card as well as passport of mother of the petitioner is different from address disclosed in the application of the petitioner No. 2. The passport authority cannot issue passport with an address which is different from address of mother disclosed in mother's passport and Aadhar Card. 3.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners would get changed address in her documents or the address disclosed in the application of petitioner No. 2 would be changed. Learned counsel for Union of India submits that if petitioner No. 1 carries out amendment, as conceded, the passport authority would pass an appropriate order within four weeks thereafter. In the wake of statement of learned counsel for Union of India, the petition stands disposed of.
