Petitioner along with his co-accused had faced the trial qua commission of offence punishable under Section 382, 482 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) in FIR No. 45 dated 13.5.2010, registered at Police Station Kartarpur. Trial Court vide judgment/order dated 9.4.2013 ordered the conviction and sentence of the accused under Section 382, 482 IPC. Aggrieved against the said judgment/order of their conviction and sentence, accused preferred an appeal and the same was dismissed by the Appellate Court vide order dated 3.2.2014. Hence, the present petition by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that she has been unable to contact the petitioner. A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner must have undergone the sentence by now as the appeal filed by the GURPREET SINGH 2015.09.28 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Crl. Revision No. 2725 of 2014 (O&M) -2petitioner was dismissed on 3.2.2014 and he was taken in custody. The sentence qua imprisonment of the petitioner was not suspended by this Court. Consequently, by now the petitioner must have undergone the sentence qua imprisonment. It appears that petitioner is not interested in proceeding with this case as he has already undergone the sentence.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
