V.
DARSHAN SINGH AND ORS.
...RESPONDENTS...
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN
Present:
None for the petitioner.
Mr. Harpreet Multani, AAG, Punjab.
***** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Perusal of file shows that instant petition was filed on 17.01.2015. Thereafter, in a span of almost 4 years, this revision has been taken up seventeen times, out of which, on seven occasions, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, in the interest of justice, petition was adjourned for the next date. For the remaining ten dates, repeated adjournments were sought by learned counsel for the petitioner on various grounds of her being out of station, due to change of counsel, for production of legible copy of agreement to sell etc. On the above factual aspect of the case, it is evident that the petitioner or his counsel is no more interested in pursuing the instant petition.
Accordingly, petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. 04.12.2018 (RAMENDRA JAIN) sonika JUDGE whether speaking/reasoned:
