COCP-1741 of 2020 The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner for initiation of proceedings against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for intentionally and willfully disobeying the order passed by this Court on 28.01.2020 in CWP No.2135 of 2020 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that as per the order dated 28.01.2020, the respondents were under an obligation to decide the entitlement of the petitioner, for the relief claimed in legal notice dated 12.12.2019, expeditiously in accordance with law. COCP-1741 of 2020 -2respondents have not decided the claim of the petitioner and have made themselves liable to be proceeded against under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for intentionally and willfully disobeying the order passed by this Court.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, Addl. A.G, Haryana, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that due to the pandemic of Covid-19, order could not be passed immediately but, now on 01.09.2020 required order, as directed by this Court vide order dated 28.01.2020 has already been passed and the copy of the same has already been sent to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Copy of the said order has also been placed before this Court today and the same is taken on record.
Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not press this contempt petition any further and the same may be disposed of as such and the petitioner will avail an appropriate remedy, in case he is aggrieved against the order passed by the respondent.
