(Oral) The petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.0336 dated 29.11.2020 under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Kathu Nangal, District Amritsar Rural. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 05.07.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. She also submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties.
The learned State counsel submits that though the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 05.07.2022 but he is required for custodial interrogation as the firearm allegedly used in the occurrence is to be recovered from him. He, however, admits the factum of a compromised having been effected.
In view of the fact that a compromise has been effected between the parties, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Thus, the interim order dated 05.07.2022 is made absolute. SUKHPREET KAUR 2022.09.13 10:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
