Mr. Naveen Batra, Advocate for respondent no. 2. *** This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of F.I.R. No. 235 dated 2.10.2016 under Section 365 IPC registered at Police Station Sohana, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali has been filed by petitioner Harpreet Singh, an accused in that case.

On completion of investigation, the challan against him has been filed in the Court. In the meanwhile, the proceedings have been stayed in terms of the order passed by this Court. The stage of consideration on point of framing of charge is yet to come. The petitioner can take all these pleas at that time and even if the trial court does not agree with him and charge against him is framed, he has got remedy of challenging it by way of filing the revision petition. The petition is disposed of relegating the petitioner to the remedy of taking all these pleas before the trial Court at an appropriate stage. (H.S.
