-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.18 dated 15.05.2011 under Sections 406/498-A IPC registered at Police Station 'D' Division, Amritsar.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State submits that nothing survives for consideration in the instant petition, since the petitioner herein stands acquitted.
In view of the statement that has been made by the counsel appearing for the respondent-State, no further orders are called for and consequently, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
