RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 06.02.2020, learned counsel for the petitioners has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarters.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.37 dated 28.04.2017 registered under Sections 447/511 IPC at Police Station SBS Nagar, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 04.08.2018 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 10.05.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana, on 12.07.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.29 15:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-53152 of 2018 First Class, Ludhiana, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.228 dated 23.07.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, vide letter No.630/EC dated 31.07.2019. According to the above report, compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine and without any pressure or fear. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.37 dated 28.04.2017 registered under Sections 447/511 IPC at Police Station SBS Nagar, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
