**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to consider him for the post of PGT (Political Science) in General category, pursuant to announcement dated 02.05.2019 (P-17) and to declare the result of the petitioner.

The petitioner applied for the post of PGT Political Science, as per application form (P-4), pursuant to advertisement dated 28.06.2015 (P-2). The petitioner cleared the written examination and was called for scrutiny of documents but was declared ineligible as the validity of STET certificate of the petitioner expired. Thereafter, the petitioner was duly interviewed on 29.08.2018 (P-14). The final result was declared on 15.11.2018 (P-15) wherein the cut off of the general category was shown to be 129.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the Commission after converting the posts of SBC category into general category are calling the candidates for interview.
