(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a direction to official respondent No. 2 seeking transfer of case FIR No. 229 dated 23.10.2017 under Sections 295, 354, 379, 427, 148, 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Bagha Purana, District Moga to some independent agency or to crime branch, Chandigarh. In this regard the petitioner has also approached the authorities by filing several representations and the last one dated 26.02.2018 (Annexure P-4) but till date no action has been taken by respondent No.3 on the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.3 be directed to look into the representation dated 26.02.2018 (Annexure P-4) and take action in accordance with law, in SATYAWAN 2018.12.04 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

On asking of the Court, Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4. Five copies of the petition be handed over to her by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. She submits that the representation dated 26.02.2018 (Annexure P-4) will be decided within a period of six weeks. Heard.
Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 26.02.2018 (Annexure P-4), within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
