 By way of present petition a prayer has been made for quashing FIR No. 271 dated 09.06.2022 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC registered at Police Station Sector 5, Panchkula. 2.

Mr. Vinay Kumar Arya and Mr. Udai Singh Chauhan, Advocates, have made appearance on behalf of the complainant and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record.

Vide order dated 09.07.2024 the parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate for recording their statements. However, on the prescribed date the petitioners did not appear and prayed for one last opportunity to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate on 04.09.2024 for getting their statements recorded. However, again the parties did not appear and on both the dates i.e. 26.09.2024 and 15.10.2024 learned counsel for the petitioners also did not put in appearance before this Court. Thereafter, on 21.10.2024, learned counsel for the petitioners appeared and stated that there was a possibility of settlement between the parties.  referred to Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court. 4.

Today, Mediation report has been received which reveals that the mediation process did not fructify on account of non-appearance of the petitioners in the meditation. Similar is the situation even today. 5.

In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing this petition, petition in hand stands dismissed.
