FATEH DEEP SINGH, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID19. The petitioner has come up in this civil writ petition under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a prayer by way of writ of mandamus by directing the respondent authorities to consider the pension and pensionary benefits and for assurance of writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the clause in the order dated 16.12.2019 (Annexure P-7) with further directions to the respondents to grant the benefit of promotion increments after 4 and 9 years in terms of ACP

CWP 14570 of 2021 (O&M) Scheme dated 03.11.2006 (Annexure P-3) w.e.f. due dates of completion of 4 and 9 years of service alongwith consequential benefits and interest @ 18 % per annum, for which, a legal notice dated 21.05.2021 (Annexure P-17) has also been served upon the respondent authorities.

Heard.

In the light of oral submissions of the petitioner side the directions are issued to the respondent authorities to duly consider the legal notice dated 21.05.2021 (Annexure P-17) as representation of the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.

If the petitioner is held entitled for so claimed relief and there is no impediment for granting the same, the relief be released to him without any delay.
