(Oral) The present first petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for seeking quashing of the summoning order dated 22.12.2025 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jalandhar in case No.CHI-178-2022 arising out of FIR No.132 of 2022 registered under Sections 406, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 [now Sections 316(2), 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023] at Police Station Shahkot, Jalandhar Rural, whereby the petitioner has been summoned as an additional accused under Section 319 Cr.P.C. alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedies as are available to the petitioner in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
