**** KIRTI SINGH, J. (Oral) By way of instant petition, petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 for protection of their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 19. 2.

Today, reply dated 01.07.2024, by way of affidavit of Davinder Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Yamuna Nagar-III, on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 to 3, has been filed by learned State counsel, in Court today, which is taken on record.

While referring to para No.2 of the aforesaid reply, learned State counsel points out that petitioners have recorded their statement at police station Jathlana on 14.06.2024, in which they have stated that they have performed marriage and are residing together and now there is no threat perception to them at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 19. In view of the stand of the parties, at this stage, there is nothing left in the present petition to adjudicate on the issue of giving any direction to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners. Hence, petition stands disposed of.
