(ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for setting aside the mutation entry No.269 qua the share of the petitioner in the land situated within the revenue estate of village Makhanwindi, Amritsar-1 on the basis of order dated 27.09.2012 (Annexure P-5) passed in CWP No.18187 of 2011 titled 'Daljit Singh and others v. State of Punjab and others'. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

In pursuance of order passed by this Court on 20.01.2015, status report by way of affidavit of C. Sibin, Director, Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab, has been filed in Court today, RAVINDER SINGH 2015.01.30 16:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of this, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty that he should be heard by the competent authority before passing the order.
