    This is an application filed by the wife with a prayer to transfer the proceedings of the petition filed under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, bearing No.DMC/565/2021, titled as "Col. Gurjeet Singh Brar vs. Parika Brar" pending in the Family Court, Bathinda, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Chandigarh. The petitioner claims that she is serving as Teacher in Kundan International School located in Chandigarh. She further claims that the respondent is at present posted at Shimla and therefore, prosecuting the litigation at Chandigarh is more convenient even for the respondent. Learned counsel representing the respondent does not dispute this fact.

The petition filed under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, bearing No.DMC/565/2021, titled as "Col. Gurjeet Singh Brar vs.

TA-667-2021 ASHOK KUMAR 2021.10.14 16:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Parika Brar" pending in the Family Court, Bathinda, is ordered to be transferred to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Chandigarh. The transferor Court is requested to remit the case file to the transferee Court forthwith.

The parties through their counsel are directed to appear before the transferee Court on 08.11.2021.

The transferee Court is requested to make sincere efforts for reconciling the dispute through mediation.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
